About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Specialist (to specialize in our financial tools - payroll) to join our dynamic sales team. This is a junior-level position designed for individuals looking to grow their career in SaaS sales, with opportunities for career advancement. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive to learn and succeed, drive long-term adoption, along with the ability to identify sales opportunities, upsell, cross-sell, and generate new business leads for Vagaro's platform.

You will be responsible for working with existing clients, uncovering new sales opportunities, and contributing to revenue growth. This is a high-impact role with an OTE (On-Target Earnings) compensation plan, including a base salary plus performance-based commissions.

*Position reports to Pleasanton, CA- Onsite position*

Compensation Details:

  • Base Hourly Pay: $26.44 - $29.81
  • Commission Structure: 70/30 Split
  • Annual On Target Earnings (OTE): $78,565 - $88,578

    Your Impact:

    • New Business Generation: Actively prospect and generate new sales opportunities (new logos) through a combination of inbound leads, cold outreach, and market research.
    • Upselling & Cross-selling: Leverage current client relationships to identify opportunities to upsell additional Vagaro products and services, enhancing customer value.
    • Consultative Sales: Understand client needs through discovery calls, product demos, and consultative conversations to recommend the best Vagaro solutions.
    • Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring they align with Vagaro’s target customer profile.
    • Sales Presentations & Demos: Deliver compelling product demos and presentations that showcase the benefits of Vagaro’s platform to prospects and clients.
    • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline in the company’s CRM (Salesforce or similar).
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Success and Marketing teams to ensure a seamless handover and ongoing client satisfaction.
    • Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed individual sales goals and KPIs related to new business, upsells, and cross-sells.
    • Stay Informed: Keep up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and product updates to effectively position Vagaro in the market.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    What You Bring:

    • Experience: 2-5+ years of experience in a sales role, ideally in SaaS, technology, or related industries. Entry-level candidates with a strong desire to learn and grow in sales are encouraged to apply.

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
    • Clear understanding of sales processes and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
