The Finance and Strategy Manager role at Vagaro is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing and optimizing revenue-generating processes across the organization. This individual will lead and grow a revenue operations team over time to collaborate closely with sales, marketing, merchant services, finance, and customer success teams to drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

In this role you will work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to the development of robust financial models, forecasts, and reports. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth, improve sales efficiency, and enhance customer lifetime value.
    • Identify key opportunities & risks to the business, quantify and evaluate the impacts, propose a solution and investment case, and ensure efficient execution.
    • Provide financial and operational business analysis to support workflows and proposed expenditures.
    • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports to support business decision-making processes.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize Netsuite and Salesforce data to derive actionable insights, inform strategic decision-making, and drive revenue optimization.
    • Conduct comprehensive analyses of financial data to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
    • Utilize advanced data analysis tools and techniques to process and analyze large datasets.
    • Transform complex financial data into meaningful insights and trends.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to team members.
    • Prepare and present regular financial reports to the CFO and other stakeholders.
    • Communicate financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and implement scalable solutions to streamline revenue operations.
    • Evaluate business performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of revenue goals, metrics, and initiatives across the organization.
    • Foster alignment between sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation, pipeline management, and conversion rates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic finance roles, business operations, or related roles
  • Experience working in tech SaaS companies, preferably in the Health, Beauty, or Wellness industries
  • Able to collaborate with cross-functional partners at all levels in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your ability to influence and drive decision making
  • Proficiency in Netsuite and Salesforce, with a strong understanding of CRM and ERP systems
  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to drive revenue growth and operational excellence
  • Proficient in SQL with the ability to manipulate extensive datasets, unearth valuable insights, and enhance our business understanding significantly through data analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
